International Justice Mission is a global organisation that protects the poor from violence across the developing world. IJM partners with local authorities to rescue victims of exploitation, bring criminals to justice, restore survivors to safety and strength, and help local law enforcement build a safe future that lasts. Without protection from the government, the poor will always be uniquely vulnerable to exploitation and violent crimes like trafficking. The justice system needs to provide a consistent deterrent to such crimes. Expanding from the direct experience gained through 15 years of casework in India, IJM collaborates with the government toward effective and sustainable systems to better protect the poor. IJM also partners with local organisations across India to support their engagement with public justice systems and secure the end of human trafficking.
